I’m a journalist based in Los Angeles, Calif., by way of Texas and Saudi Arabia. I like to shoot my own photos and use multimedia in telling stories that range from politics, social issues like homelessness, poverty and wealth, immigration, and trend pieces. Most recently, I’ve gotten into coding and learning new languages.

I was born and raised in the Middle East and I am fluent in Urdu, Egyptian and Levantine Arabic dialects and proficient in Spanish.
